#Project135 Week 27: updated photos and measurements!

I got off the Halloween candy train this past week and have been eating healthfully again, and the scale blessed me with a loss. I am now just under 12 pounds away from my ultimate goal weight of 135! I’ve really noticed a change in my body with this most recent 5 pounds — when I sat in front of a full length mirror for a haircut last week, my muffin top was barely visible. And I suddenly realized that I looked different, and that it was probably time to update my photos and measurements for this blog! I really notice the weight loss around my waist, if not my hips or thighs, and that’s evidenced by my having lost 2.5 inches off my waist but only 1.5 inches each off my bust and hips. I highly recommend that anyone starting a weight loss effort take full length photos before you start. While it’s tough to notice tiny changes in your body from day to day, putting old photos next to new ones can really show you how much progress you’ve made in a way you could never do in your own mind. And man, is it fun to see!

Even just comparing how tight the blue fabric was on my belly when I started back in May 2020 vs. how loose it is now is amazing to see. I’m feeling really proud and excited, and looking forward to posting updated pics and measurements again when I lose another 6 pounds or so, just after Thanksgiving! Ha ha, OK, maybe not just after Thanksgiving….
